We wanted to provide you updates regarding our Food Service Program for the Silver Falls School District since becoming a self-operated program.

Summer Meals
We had a successful summer meal program in which we served more meals than last year! Thank you to all the amazing staff that helped to ensure our students had meals over the summer!

Meals During the School Year
We are proud to announce that ALL students will be offered FREE breakfast and lunch for the 2025-26 school year. For questions, please visit the Food Service section in our District Website.

Our menus are completed and ready to be viewed by families and staff. The menus allow you to change the language, review nutritional facts, "Build a Meal" in which you can select specific items offered in a menu to determine nutritional facts for medical/health needs. Please note, menus are subject to change. Here is a LINK to view the menus. 

If your student has a need for a medical meal accommodation, please complete the Medical Meal Accommodation Form and return it. Please visit the Food Service section in our District Website.

We will be offering Uncrustables in our menu this year. These items come individually wrapped. If your student has a nut allergy, it is important to complete the Medical Meal Accommodation so we can plan according. Please be sure to defer to Nursing's Health Protocols for specific intervention for prevention, Leslie Kuhn, BSN, RN, NCSN. We have guidelines, which were completed in collaboration with our nurses, for handling food allergens.
