ANNOUNCEMENTS


End of Semester 1

The end of the first semester is on Thursday, January 29. We are excited to share each student’s accomplishments and progress so far this year with you. 


There is no school on Friday, January 30 for a grading day to prepare progress reports. 


There is no school on Monday, February 2 for a staff professional development day. 


Progress reports/report cards will go with students on Friday, February 6




Donations Needed

The Bear Den is an important part of school at Robert Frost. Students and staff access it daily to get needed supplies, food and snacks, and extra clothing for students. 

We are in need of new or gently used t-shirts and sweatpants in sizes 8-12, as well as socks for older students, to restock our Bear Den. Donations can be dropped off in the main office. Thank you! 



PBIS AWARD WINNERS

  • Golden Tray award for outstanding cafeteria behavior: Mrs. Becker’s class

  • Golden Dustpan award for a tidy classroom: Mrs. McCollum’s class, Mrs. Rounce’s class, Mrs. Larned’s class

  • Golden Whistle award for outstanding recess behavior: Mrs. McCollum’s class, Mrs. Brautigam’s class, Mrs. Pantovich’s class

  • Golden Shoe award for outstanding hallway behavior: Ms. Mathis’s class

  • Golden Book award for outstanding library behavior: Mrs. McCollum’s class


UPCOMING EVENTS

January 30: No school, Grading Day

February 2: No school, Professional Development Day

February 3: PTC meeting @ 7:00 pm in the cafeteria

February 5: 4th grade NAEP testing; PBIS/Character assembly @ 2:05 pm


A MESSAGE FROM MRS. WOLD


Our Robert Frost 3rd-5th grade OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books) teams have been hard work reading and preparing for their battles over the past couple of months. A huge thank you to Mrs. Mattison, Mrs. Hobson, and Mrs. Harding for all their hard work preparing our students!


The teams are currently working on pool play battles in preparing for Finals Night on February 12.
