Semester 1 Progress Reports
Semester 1 progress reports went home with students today!
Youth Truth Survey
Again this year, the Silver Falls School District has partnered with Youth Truth -- a non-profit organization that supports hundreds of schools and districts across the country -- to gather anonymous input from staff, students, and parents about school culture, engagement, relationships, communication & feedback, school safety, resources, and more.
Please take 15 minutes to help us by completing this survey. Your input is important to help guide improvement in our school and district.
Take the Family Survey between now and February 27 by clicking this link: ytsurvey.org/sfsdfamily26
Please note:
The survey needs to be completed in one sitting.
We ask that one member of each household fill out the survey.
If you have more than one child who attends the same school, you may respond to the survey multiple times - one time per child.
If you write any comments, please do not include your name or anything else that might identify you. Your responses are anonymous, and they will be combined with the responses of other parents and guardians before being shared back with school and district leadership.
We appreciate and take to heart clear, thoughtful comments that are communicated respectfully.
Your feedback is really helpful to us at Robert Frost. Thanks for taking the time to complete this survey, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Semester 1 progress reports went home with students TODAY. Our teachers worked very hard to prepare these reports and we are eager to share your child’s progress with you. Please take some time to review your student’s reports with them and celebrate all they have accomplished so far this year, and then set some goals together for the remainder of the year.
Please remember that these reports are like progress reports. We are only halfway through the school year, therefore students have learned about half of their grade-level content. We still have a lot of learning left to do! If you notice that your student has not shown proficiency with standards yet, that is okay. Teachers are continuing to teach the learning standards needing to be taught at your child’s grade level.
As always, I want to emphasize the importance of your involvement in your child's education. I am invested in our school community and I am working diligently to foster positive school/family partnerships. If you have questions about what your child is learning or need tips on supporting them with their schoolwork at home, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher, or me. We are all partners in your child's education and share the same goal of helping them succeed. Your participation and support contribute significantly to creating a positive home and school relationship, ultimately benefiting our entire school community.
Two ways you can support your child at home are encouraging reading at home, and making sure your child attends school regularly. By reading 20 minutes each day and attending school consistently and on time, you will make a positive and lasting impact on your child’s education. Thank you for your continued support of our school. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Mrs. Wold
