Early Release

Our last all-district early release day is this coming Thursday, May 14. School will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. 

Yearbook Orders and Photo Submissions

As the 2025-26 RF school year is coming to a close, now's the time to submit all the memories you've captured so that they can be used for the yearbook. 

Please pass along your photos by no later than May 9th. Here's how:

  • Anyone with the link above can upload photos to the drive.

  • I've created subfolders for each grade/teacher, events, etc. to help keep things organized. 

  • If an existing folder doesn't make sense, make a new subfolder or just load into the main folder.

• Email: Send your photos to RobertFrostYearbookEditor@gmail.com with any pertinent info you have about them.

We look forward to seeing all the great images that have been captured throughout the year, and we know the students will love to see them at year's end, too.

Dress Code

The weather is getting warmer, so it is time to review our Silver Falls School District dress code.

Toys at School

As a reminder, it is school policy for students to keep toys at home. This include Pokemon cards. Unless the toy is pre-arranged with a staff member, such as bringing a stuffed animal to school for a special reward, toys need to stay at home. The school is not responsible for any lost or stolen toys. Thank you for your help!

• Golden Dustpan award for a tidy classroom: Mrs. De La Melena’s class, Ms. Mathis’s class, Mrs. Denney’s class

• Golden Whistle award for outstanding recess behavior: Mrs. Becker’s class, Mrs. Brautigam’s class, Mrs. Brueckner’s class

• Golden Shoe award for outstanding hallway behavior: Mrs. Chapin’s class

• Golden Book award for outstanding library behavior: Mrs. Becker’s class

May 11-15: Penny Wars continue

May 11-15: Book Fair (Open during library class and after school from 3:00-4:00 pm. Also open during the PTC meeting on May 12!)

May 12: Parent Teacher Club meeting at 7:00 pm 

May 13: Reptile Man assembly (K-2nd at 12:30 pm and 3rd-5th at 1:30 pm)

May 14: Early release at 1:00 pm

May 21: 1st grade Smokey the Bear assembly at 2:00 pm

May 22: 2nd grade field trip to Silver Falls

I would like to extend a huge thank you to our Parent Teacher Club and families for the delicious staff lunch this week and the amazing gifts, snacks, and cards for Teacher Appreciation Week. Our Robert Frost staff felt very loved. 

Wishing all the moms and mom figures in our school community a very happy Mother’s Day this weekend!
