Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
Dear Robert Frost Families,
Now that all our students have started school, we would like to send out these important arrival and dismissal reminders again.
Staggered parent-pick up begins TOMORROW afternoon, September 8. If your family does not have an assigned pick-up time, please contact the main office.
1. Students may not arrive to school earlier than 8:00 am. We do not have staff supervision available before that time. Please ensure the safety of your student(s) by not dropping them off prior to 8:00 am.
2. Please utilize our designated drop-off and pick-up zones. See the photo below and follow the traffic pattern outlined by the blue arrows on the map. Please do not cut through the parking areas of the church or school to enter the drop-off/pick-up zone or the school. We have many students and staff using that area and we want to ensure everyone's safety.
3. Please keep the bus loading and unloading area clear. (See the red x's on the map.) This area is utilized all day for drop-off, pick-up, and for our Host students coming from SMS and SHS.
4. Please assist staff with keeping traffic flowing by maintaining safe speeds and watching for staff to direct you. Please remain in your vehicle in the drop-off/pick-up zone. Staff will assist students with entering and exiting their vehicles.
5. New this year! All students will be dismissed from the gym. If your student walks home, please note the orange stars on the map below. Families, please do not pick up your student in the gym, or wait by the gym doors. All student dismissal groups have an assigned staff member to get them safely to their dismissal areas. You may meet your student there.
6. All perimeter doors will be secured and families will not be permitted to walk their student(s) to class. To ensure school safety and to teach our students arrival procedures, we need to get these routines in place.
We appreciate our school community's support and help with ensuring safety at Robert Frost. Thank you!
